About Carlette Ewell
Carlette Ewell is a professional boxer. Ewell’s love for boxing began as a young girl when she and her father would watch Saturday night boxing matches on TV. Ewell played basketball through high school and she won the MVP Award during the 1985-86 season. She also participated in track and field as well as chorus in high school. Ewell met her current trainer Eddie Gregg in 1999. She began boxing to lose weight and she continued to train and made the decision to box in the amateurs. She participated in three amateur matches and lost all three. Ewell won the North Carolina Toughwoman Championship in 2000 and 2001. After winning the events, she decided to turn professional. Ewell made her professional boxing debut on April 20, 2002 where she won the fight with a TKO. Ewell’s record is 15-7-1 with 9 of the wins by KOs. Ewell plans on becoming a world champion boxer.
