Carl Landry

Carl Landry is a professional basketball power forward. Landry attended Vincennes University from 2002-2004 where he was named a First-Team Junior College All-American and the All-Region MVP. Landry then transferred to Purdue University where he spent the remainder of his college years. At Purdue, Landry was named Second Team All Big Ten. As a senior, Landry helped the Boilermakers to the 2007 NCAA Tournament where they fell to Florida in the second round. The Seattle SuperSonics selected Landry as the 31st overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, but his agent helped him get traded to the Houston Rockets. Landry was named NBA All-Rookie Second Team during 2007-08. After his rookie season, Landry became an unrestricted free agent and on September 24, 2008, he signed with the Charlotte Bobcats, but the Rockets matched the offer the next day. Landry was traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2010 where he spent one season. He was then traded to the New Orleans Hornets in 2011. The following year he signed with the Golden State Warriors. On July 15, 2013, Landry signed a multi-year deal with the Sacramento Kings.
