About Cardale Jones
Cardale Jones will forever be remembered for his a brief, but unforgettable collegiate run with the Ohio State Buckeyes. During his redshirt sophomore season, he was third on the Ohio State depth chart. Due to injuries, Jones was thrust into the starting role during the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game. He was able to lead the Buckeyes to a win in that game and two victories over Alabama and Oregon on the way to winning the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship. In that three-game stint, Jones threw for 860 yards, completed over 60 percent of his passes, and tossed seven touchdowns against only two intceptions. While being eliglble for the NFL Draft, he decided to stay in Columbus for his junior campaign. Heading into the 2015 season, Jones was named the starter and spent time in and out of the role throughout the year. He ultimately threw for 1,460 yards and eight touchdowns. Prior to OSU's final home game, Jones announced his intentions to enter the NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills selected him in the fourth round in 2016. Jones now plays for the DC Defenders in the XFL.
