About Cam Awesome
Cam Awesome is a celebrated American amateur boxer, captivating storyteller, and inspiration for his remarkable journey and achievements in boxing and life. A native of Uniondale, New York, he rose from being a bullied teenager to becoming one of the most decorated southpaw amateur boxers in U.S. history. He is a six-time USA National Boxing Champion (2008, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), four-time Golden Gloves National Champion (2008, 2009, 2011, 2013), and three-time Olympic Trials Champion.
Beyond the ring, Awesome promotes a vegan lifestyle and supports the Breast Cancer Awareness Program, often fighting in pink to increase visibility for the cause. He is also a stand-up comedian with an Emmy-nominated appearance in the 2017 Netflix documentary “CounterPunch,” and a motivational speaker who has delivered keynotes at over 200 organizations, focusing on resilience, goal-setting, and anti-bullying. His keynote, “Becoming Awesome: If You Can Fail Without Being Discouraged, Success Becomes Inevitable,” emphasizes turning setbacks into opportunities for growth.
