Bob Toledo

Bob Toledo has earned the reputation as one of the premier college football coaches in the country over the last 40 years.  Toledo grew up in sunny San Jose, California, and went on to play his college football at San Jose State and San Francisco State form 1964 to 1967.  Upon earning his degree from San Francisco State in 1968 he began his college coaching career at Arch Riordan High School and remained in that position until being hired as the offensive coordinator at UC Riverside in 1973.  A year later he was hired as the head coach at UC Riverside and then coached one year at USC before heading to the Pacific from 1979 to 1982.  From 1983 to 1995 he served as the offensive coordinator at Oregon, Texas A&M and UCLA before being named head coach at UCLA in 1996.  From 1996 to 2002 he led the Bruins to 49 wins, four bowl appearances and two consecutive Pac-10 championships in 1997 and 1998.  He went on to serve as the head coach at Tulane and has since become the offensive coordinator at San Diego State Univesity.
