B.J. Raji Biography

B.J. Raji was one of the best defensive tackles of his era and a foundational piece of the Green Bay Packers defense.  Raji was a Pro Bowl pick in 2011 and won Super Bowl XLV with the Packers.  No Packer defensive tackle had made the Pro Bowl since 1972.  His 6.5 sacks in 2010 were the most by a nose tackle in the NFL that season.  Green Bay originally selected him ninth overall out of Boston College in the 2009 NFL Draft.  At BC, Raji was a first-team All-ACC pick and third-team All-American in 2008.   He played four seasons for the Eagles and totaled 99 tackles and nine sacks.  The New York City native played at Westwood Regional High School in New Jersey.  His gridiron dance moves have landed him commercial appearances for the ESPYs and State Farm.
