About Bianca Andreescu
Bianca Andreescu is one of the top rising stars in women's tennis. Andreescu jumped onto the scene by upsetting Serena Williams to win the 2019 U.S. Open singles title. With the victory, she became the first Canadian to ever win a Grand Slam in tennis. Just a month prior, Andreescu became the first Canadian woman to win the Canadian Open since 1969. After that match, she was ranked as high as 14th in the world by the WTA. Andreescu shot up to fifth in the rankings after winning the U.S. Open.
