About Barbra Higgins
Barbra Higgins Arana was born 1957 and is an Olympic fencer and Oaklander. She was born in Panama and fenced in the 1984 Olympics representing Panama. Barbra is on the board of directors of Northern California Olympians (NorCal Olympians), which works to "inspire and inform the communities and people of our region and to promote sport, health and the Olympic ideals," and is on the board of the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame. She is a major supporter of the Bay Area Senior Games. Barbra also works with various groups to further interest in fencing.
