About Avery Williamson
Avery Williamson is one of the top young inside linebackers in the NFL. In 2014, Williamson broke onto the scene as a rookie with the Tennessee Titans, starting 12 games and racking up 107 tackles. His tackle total ranked third on the team. Williamson followed up his performance with 137 tackles in 2015, becoming the first player in Titans history to start his career with back-to-back 100 tackle seasons. Tennessee selected him in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Williamson played collegiately at Kentucky and led the Wildcats in tackles as a junior and senior. During his final season, he was a team captain and named second-team All-SEC. As a junior, he finished second in the conference in tackles and he was fourth as a senior. Williamson was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up in Tennessee.
