About Andre Smith
Andre Smith is an offensive lineman synonymous with the University of Alabama and the Cincinnati Bengals. He has been a Bengal since being the sixth pick in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. His first two years in Cincinnati were marked by injury, but Smith turned it around since to be a productive starting right tackle. At Alabama, Smith was a huge part of a dynastic run for the Crimson Tide. He was only the fourth true freshman to ever start on the line for Alabama and was honored as a Freshman All-American as a result. Smith was a two-time All-SEC pick and a unanimous All-American in 2008. As the nation’s best interior lineman in that 2008 season, he won the Outland Trophy. Coming out of high school in Birmingham, Smith was a five-star recruit and Mr. Football in Alabama.
