About Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara is one of the NFL's rising young stars. He played two seasons at the University of Tennessee after transferring from Hutchinson Community College. Kamara was a top JUCO prospect after rushing for 1,211 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was a part-time player in his first season with the Volunteers, rushing for 698 yards and finishing third in the Southeastern Conference with a 6.5 yards per carry average. Kamara ran for 598 yards and nine touchdowns in his final year at UT. The New Orleans Saints selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Kamara was among the league leaders in touchdown runs. He also became just the fourth rookie in NFL history to collect over 600 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards in a season. His status as one of the league's top dual-threat offensive options earned him selection to the Pro Bowl in 2017.
