About A.J. Ramos
A.J. Ramos is the closer for the Miami Marlins. He became the closer during the 2015 season and a year later he was named to his first National League All-Star team. In Ramos first season as closer, he recorded 32 saves while sporting a 2.30 ERA. He was a fixture in the Miami bullpen in 2014 and 2013, appearing in 68 games each season. Ramos made his major league debut in 2012 and saw action in 11 games. The Marlins originally selected him in the 21st round of the 2009 MLB Draft. Ramos played college baseball at Texas Tech University.
