About Aaron Glenn
Aaron Glenn has an amazing track record on the defensive side of the ball in pro football as both a player and coach. That success has led Glenn to his current role as head coach of the New York Jets. He sharpened his reputation in coaching previously serving as the defensive coordinator with the Detroit Lions from 2021-24.
Glenn spent time coaching defensive backs with the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints after a 15-year playing career. He was named to three Pro Bowls. Glenn made the biggest impact during his first several years with the Jets and was also named to a Pro Bowl with the expansion Houston Texans in 2002.
New York originally selected him with the 12th overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. Glenn was a two-time First-Team All-Southwest Conference selection and a SWC Defensive Player of the Year at Texas A&M.
