Savannah Marshall Biography

Savannah Marshall is a British professional boxer and mixed martial artist nicknamed the “Silent Assassin.” Reigning from Hartlepool, England, she has achieved significant success in boxing, holding the undisputed “Ring Magazine” female super-middleweight titles since 2023 and the WBO female middleweight title from 2020 to 2022. She made history as the first British female to win gold at the 2012 World Championships and also secured gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. 

As a young girl, she was tenacious enough to become a fighter at the Hartlepool Headland Club after seeing a young man with a trophy and wanting to earn the same honor. She went to her local training club and petitioned to spar even though management tried to dissuade her. She was deemed the “annoying little girl that kept coming back” and trained with her male peers. Her persistence paid off, and she became a boxer at 12. 

She has fought under Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s promotion since 2017. In 2024, Marshall ventured into MMA, winning her debut fight in the PFL Europe against Mirela Vargas via first-round stoppage.
