Ashley Moyer‑Gleich was born on August 5, 1987, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and she is a trailblazing NBA referee (#13) who is currently in her sixth season on the roster. She played college basketball at Millersville University where she helped her Division II team reach the Sweet Sixteen before switching to officiating and advancing through high school, college (ACC, A‑10, Patriot, Ivy), WNBA, and NBA G League ranks before making her NBA debut on October 22, 2018.

Since becoming full-time in November 2018, she has officiated over 200 NBA regular-season games. Moyer‑Gleich became the second woman since 2012 and the second woman in NBA history to officiate a playoff game when she was selected for Round 1 in April 2024.
