World Series Champion Manager Alex Cora Signs Endorsement Deal with Local Boston Tire Company

One local Boston tire company is looking to strengthen their association with the World Champion Red Sox. Sullivan Tire recently signed Red Sox manager Alex Cora to an endorsement deal.

The two-year partnership between Sullivan and Cora will include television commercial spots and personal appearances. The regional tire giant is no stranger to working with Red Sox stars, having previously been represented by Dustin Pedroia, Jim Rice, Dennis Eckersley and Terry Francona

Sullivan Tire has also had sports endorsement personalities from the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. They have 71 retail locations and several other facilities throughout Greater New England.

Cora quickly became one of the most respected managers in baseball by guiding the Red Sox to 108 wins and the World Series in his first year. He finished second in American League Manager of the Year voting and became just the fifth person to win a championship as a rookie skipper.

Cora was also the first Puerto Rican manager to win a World Series. He previously spent one season as the Houston Astros bench coach and also won a title in that role.

Cora entered the coaching profession after a four-year run as a baseball analyst for ESPN. He spent 14 years as a middle infielder in the major leagues.
