SEC Personality Paul Finebaum to Keynote Event at Freed-Hardeman University

The SEC Network's Paul Finebaum is one of the most prominent sports personalities in the South and that leads to a series of speaking engagements throughout the year. His next event will be at Freed-Hardeman University on April 27. 

Finebaum will speak at the Lions' Sports Advisory Council Benefit Dinner. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m. and his presentation taking place at 7:15 p.m. 

Finebaum follows in a long line of prestigious guests that includes Bobby Bowden, Bruce Pearl and Houston Nutt. He should have some great comments and stories about the passion of sports fans in the South. 

Finebaum interacts with supporters across the SEC daily as host of "The Paul Finebaum Show" from 2-6 p.m. on the SEC Network. He previously hosted a radio show that was syndicated throughout the state of Alabama. 

Finebaum also currently contributes to a variety of ESPN shows and is an analyst for SEC Nation. His roots are in the newspaper business and served as a sports writer at the Birmingham Post-Herald. 

Finebaum is a New York Times bestselling author. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from his alma mater, the University of Tennessee.
