SEC Network Broadcaster Tim Tebow Speaks at Gordon College

Tim Tebow continues to fit speaking engagements important to him into his busy schedule. Last Thursday, he addressed the crowd at Gordon College.

Tebow was the keynote speaker at the sixth annual Celebration of Faithful Leadership. The event served as a fundraiser for Gordon College's scholarship fund.

Tebow gave a 30-minute presentation packed with stories that shared a religious message. He had a tremendous lead-in, with the Harlem Globetrotters holding a performance in the gymnasium before his speech.

Tebow first gained notoriety as a two-time national champion and former Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Florida. He was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.

In his second season, Tebow took over a 1-4 Broncos team, led them to an AFC West Division title and a playoff victory. He went on to spend time with the New York Jets, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles, never experiencing the same success he had in Denver.

Tebow has gone on to a career in professional baseball, finishing his first season in the New York Mets organization this year. He is also a broadcaster for the SEC Network.
