Sage Steele Named Commencement Speaker at Indiana University Bloomington Graduation Ceremony

ESPN Anchor Sage Steele has been announced as the commencement speaker for this year’s ceremony at the University of Bloomington on May 9. Steele is one of the most accomplished and recognized female sports reporters and hosts out there, and this year’s graduation speech is sure to be a hit with the students who are making the next big move into their futures. The event will open its doors at 8 a.m. and by 8:45 a.m., the new graduates are expected to start their walk towards their seats which is when the speech is going to begin.

Steele has been working as a sports television personality since 1995, when she got her first job working for the CBS affiliate station in South Bend, Indiana. From 1998 onward the sports host worked with a number of different stations and programs such as an ABC station in Tampa, Florida, Fox Sports Florida, and she was the main anchor and one of the original members of Comcast Sportnet’s show “SportsNite.” Then in 2007 Steele debuted on ESPN’s ET edition of Sports Center where she still is today.

The NBA Countdown host is going to put on a great talk for the new University of Bloomington graduates, she is going to have lots of great advice to give and a variety of motivating topics to speak about.
