Ovarian Cancer Event to Welcome Decorated Olympian Shannon Miller

Olympic champion Shannon Miller has helped countless people by openly sharing about her battle with ovarian cancer. She will once again present her message of hope and advocacy as the keynote speaker at the CURE magazine second annual Ovarian Cancer Heroes event. 

The event is part of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Annual Meeting on Women's Cancer and it takes place March 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. Miller will discuss how to tackle the cancer journey and also ways to promote overall health. 

During the reception, three people will also be named Ovarian Cancer Heroes. Registration is currently available

Miller first wowed America as an Olympic hero on the mat. She won seven medals overall, making her the most decorated Team USA gymnast of all-time. 

Miller also has nine medals from the World Championships. She is the only women that has been inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame twice. 

Miller became more active in the fight against cancer when she was diagnosed in 2011. She is a champion for health and wellness via her company, Shannon Miller Enterprises with Shannon Miller Lifestyle: Health and Fitness for Women.
