Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic may not yet have an NBA MVP award for NBA Finals trophy under his belt, but there is no questioning his global appeal as a brand ambassador. The Doncic endorsement portfolio is taking the next step with his equity partnership with Biosteel.
Biosteel, a sports nutrition product company, has not been shy at rallying up the biggest names from sports to be part of the company. The best and brightest from every corner, including names like Connor McDavid, Patrick Mahomes, Gleyber Torres and Brooke Henderson represent the company in some way.
None of the names on their roster perhaps have the same global appeal that Doncic has. His multi-year endorsement deal includes an equity stake, which has been a common arrangement for Biosteel, but something new for the 22-year old, multi-time All-Star.
The Luka Doncic endorsement roster also includes his pact with Jordan Brand that he agreed to following his rookie year. He benefited by originally having a deal with Nike while he was playing in Spain with Real Madrid that ran out.
That meant that Doncic could pick his chosen sneaker suitor after already flashing his wizardry in the NBA during his Rookie of the Year campaign.
As Doncic continues to put up monster numbers and leads the Mavericks to greater heights, other major brands are bound to flock to have him represent them both domestically and abroad. Amazingly, he has already made waves in the sports card market, with his rookie card recently going for $4.6 million, becoming the highest-selling NBA card ever.
