Joe Torre Speaks at Ticket Summit Convention in Las Vegas This July

As one of the most significant baseball figures in recent memory, legendary manager Joe Torre remains a hot commodity on the speaker circuit.  This July, Torre will address the Ticket Summit at The Venetian Las Vegas.

The Ticket Summit gathers professionals from the ticketing and live entertainment fields for a three-day conference.  Torre’s keynote speech will be on the 17th at noon.

He will speak with moderator Chris Maathuis of KLAS-TV and also take questions from the audience.  After the session, Torre will be at the convention’s closing cocktail party where attendees will be able to take pictures and enter a raffle for signed items.

Torre was a famed manager and player.  In 2014, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

As a manager, Torre piloted five different franchises, but he is best remembered for winning four World Series with the New York Yankees.  The two-time American League Manager of the Year has also had his #6 retired in the Yankees’ Monument Park.

Due to his tremendous achievements on the bench, a top-notch playing career has gone overlooked at times.  Torre was a nine-time All-Star and won the 1971 MVP Award after leading the National League in batting average and RBI.

He stays busy to this day as Major League Baseball’s Chief Baseball Officer.  In this role, Torre presides over operations, discipline, and umpiring.
