Inspirational Sports Speaker Anthony Robles Gets Greenlit Film

Anthony Robles has been telling his inspirational story as one of the top speakers in sports. Now, the world will get to view his amazing journey of becoming an NCAA wrestling champion on the big screen.

Seven Bucks Productions, which is icon Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson's house, is partnering with 101 Studios on the picture. "Unstoppable" will be based on Robles' memoir, "Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion."

He is hoping that the film impacts the audience in a whole new way.

“Words cannot express how honored I am to have my story made into a film," said Robles. "Because I was born missing my leg, my entire life I’ve had to deal with people having low expectations of me. When I got into wrestling, most people thought it was impossible for me to become even an average wrestler. I’m hopeful that people who see Unstoppable will walk away believing that you should never let your challenges define you. If you have a goal, go after it with everything you’ve got. Nothing is impossible.”

Despite the difficult circumstances Robles has been faced with in life, he rose to become an accomplished wrestler. During his last two years at Mesa High School, he went 96-0, won two state titles and one national championship.

Despite that remarkable success, Robles still had doubters and had to walk-on at Arizona State. He defied the odds again, becoming a three-time All-American wrestler for the Sun Devils.

In Robles' final year, he went 36-0 and won the 2011 NCAA Championship in the 125-pound division. After his remarkable achievements, he was honored with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPYs.

Now, Robles travels the country as a keynote speaker helping to motivate audiences at corporate events, charity organizations, school functions and more. He is also a Nike-endorsed athlete and a wrestling commentator for ESPN and the Pac-12 Network.
