Hall of Fame Running Back Marcus Allen Keynotes Little Rock Touchdown Club Awards Banquet Next Month

The Little Rock Touchdown Club is closing the 2017 schedule and looking forward to 2018 with a special event. They will host their annual awards banquet and Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen will serve as the keynote speaker. 

The banquet takes place on January 11th at the Embassy Suites. In addition to Allen's presentation, the Archie Manning and Cliff Harris Awards will also be presented. 

Individual tickets are $50 if attendees purchase before January 10th. All tickets sold after that date or at the door will be $55. 

Allen was a tremendous all-purpose back who collected 12,243 rushing yards and 5,412 receiving yards during his career. He also collected 145 total touchdowns and his 123 rushing scores set a then-NFL record. 

Allen played for the Los Angeles Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. While with the Raiders, he won Super Bowl XVIII and was named MVP of the game. 

Allen was the 1985 NFL MVP and NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He was a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro.
