Speerheading the efforts for this summit is NBPA Executive Committee member and Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala.  Since arriving in the Bay Area, he has been emersed in some of the technology companies in the region and has brought that eduction to the NBPA.

At the summit, current and former players will have a great selection of opportunities to learn more about the tech world.  There will be presentations, visits to top companies in Silicon Valley, networking sessions and workshops.

Upon joining the Warriors in 2013, Iguodala became a veteran leader.  During his tenure with the franchise, they have become one of the preeminent teams in the league.

Last year, Iguodala was a reserve for the first time in his career, but rejoined the starting lineup midway through the NBA Finals.  He averaged 16.3 points, 4 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game on the way to winning NBA Finals MVP honors as Golden State took the series in six games.

Iguodala was originally selected ninth overall in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.  He spent his first eight seasons with the Sixers and was an All-Star in 2012.
