FOX NFL Analyst Chris Spielman Keynotes North Central State Hall of Excellence Awards

The North Central State College Foundation is hosting their Hall of Excellence Awards on April 19th. A former great football star and current Fox commentator, Chris Spielman, will serve as keynote speaker.

The event is being held at the Kehoe Center in Shelby, North Carolina with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by the 7:00 p.m. dinner. There are two honorees that will make up the second Hall of Excellence class.

Individual tickets cost $150 and a table of eight is $1000. It should be a great night to benefit the NCSC Foundation.

Spielman was a two-time All-American and Lombardi Award winner at Ohio State. The linebacker was then selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft.

Spielman spent the first eight years of his career and was a four-time Pro Bowler as well as a three-time All-Pro. After retiring in 1999, he entered the broadcasting field.

For 15 years, Spielman was one of the top college football analysts for ESPN and he currently calls NFL games for Fox Sports. He is also a well-known speaker for cancer awareness after his wife Stefanie was lost to the disease in 2009.
