Next Wednesday, former NFL head coach Dan Reeves will be back on the speaking circuit.  Reeves is the guest speaker at the United Way of Thomas County Campaign Kickoff Luncheon in Georgia.

He will address the crowd at 12 p.m. in Thomasville at The Plaza.  Tables for the event cost $200 for four seats and $400 for an eight-person table.

In 23 seasons as a head coach, Reeves went 190-165-2.  He made a special impact during his seven seasons in The Peach State as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons went to Super Bowl XXXIII following the 1998 season and Reeves was named NFL Coach of the Year.  He also took the Denver Broncos to three Super Bowls. 

In between his Denver and Atlanta stops, Reeves was head coach of the New York Giants for four years.  His coaching career started with the Dallas Cowboys in 1970 and he spent over a decade there moving up the chain of command.

Reeves still lives in the Atlanta area and has three children and six grandchildren.  He regularly speaks around the country about faith and football.
