Former Football Greats Brian Bosworth and Bo Jackson Star in Kia Commercial

Two football icons are teaming up in one of the most popular commercials going around on various media platforms right now.  Brian Bosworth and Bo Jackson are using their notoreity to promote the Kia Sorento SUV.

The ad particularly plays off a well-known moment from a Monday Night Football game in 1987.  In that contest, Jackson bested Bosworth to score a touchdown.

The spot is titled, "Tecmo Bros" and also makes a note of the iconic Tecmo Bowl video game.  The commercial is getting significant play during Sunday Night Football, where Kia spends their third season as the presenting sponsor for the pre-kick and kickoff shows.

Bosworth became a national name as a two-time consensus All-American at the University of Oklahoma.  He was also a two-time Dick Butkus Award winner and three-time All-Big 8 selection.

Bosworth did make his way to the NFL and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1987 NFL supplemental draft.  He played just three pro seasons before his career was prematurely ended by injuries.

Jackson was one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century.  He won the 1985 Heisman Trophy at Auburn University and went on to be a Pro Bowler with the Raiders.

As a true two-sport star, Jackson also was a Major League Baseball All-Star with the Kansas City Royals in 1989.  His career in both sports was also cut short by injuries, but he is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
