Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is one of the most beloved players in the history of Texas Christian Univesity football. Last night, he returned to campus to speak to the school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter.
The TCU FCA Night of Champions Banquet took place in the Sammy Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. Individual tickets cost $150 and sponsorship packages ranged in price from $1,500-$10,000.
The event offered the opportunity for the chapter to thank their donors. In addition to Dalton's presentation, there were several student-athlete testimonies.
Since being selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft, Dalton has become one of the best quarterbacks in Bengals history. He led the franchise to the playoffs in each of his first four seasons.
Dalton has also made three Pro Bowl appearances. He holds team records for passing yards and passing touchdowns in a season.
At TCU, Dalton was a two-time Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year and two-time All-MWC first-team pick. He is the school's all-time leader in wins and led them to arguably the biggest victory in program history at the 2011 Rose Bowl.
