Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is the latest athlete endorser for Chef's Cut Real Jerky. He will have a part in the advertising and marketing promotions for the company.
Goldschmidt was first exposed to Chef's Cut at Spring Training this year. He was a fan of the high-protein content they use in their jerky.
As part of the deal, Goldschmidt also has an investment stake in the company. He joins other notable athletes like Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller as Chef's Cut endorsers.
Goldschmidt has made four straight National League All-Star teams. He is a two-time Gold Glove and Silver Slugger winner.
On two occasions, Goldschmidt has finished runner-up in NL Most Valuable Player voting. In 2013, he led the NL in home runs and RBI.
Goldschmidt debuted with the Diamondbacks in 2011. He was drafted in the eighth round of the 2009 MLB Draft after playing college baseball at Texas State.
