American Soccer Star Megan Rapinoe Signs Endorsement Deal with BodyArmor

Megan Rapinoe remains a productive star for the U.S. women's national team even into her 30s. That consistent performance required great dedication to a training regimen and diet plan.

Rapinoe's commitment caught the eye of the sports drink BodyArmour, who recently signed her to an endorsement deal. They announced the partnership with a video featuring her and fellow soccer star, Giovani dos Santos.

Rapinoe recently shared her thoughts about working with BodyArmour with Outsports. She talked about the importance of getting endorsement deals as an LGBTQ athlete and how it makes sense to work with the rapidly-expanding company.

Rapinoe has competed for the U.S. at two World Cups, winning silver in 2011 and gold in 2015. She also won a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics after scoring three goals and adding a team-high four assists.

At the 2011 World Cup, Rapinoe was part of the sequence that won the ESPY for Best Play of the Year. She set Abby Wambach up for an equalizer goal in the 122nd minute of quarterfinal play against Brazil.

On the club side, Rapinoe has played with the Seattle Reign and has 38 goals in 50 appearances. She was inducted into the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
