2007 Heisman Trophy Winner Tim Tebow Keynotes SEU Scholarship Gala

Tim Tebow is getting set for another season of minor league baseball, but the former Heisman Trophy winner was recently able to do some good while down in Florida for Spring Training. He served as the keynote speaker at Southeastern University's Scholarship Gala.

The Gala followed the two-day Forum on SEU on March 16 and was entirely sold-out. Only table sponsors were able to gain access to the event.

Tebow was joined by comedian Jeff Foxworthy as a co-host and speaker. His presentation centered on personal stories related to leadership.

After a legendary football career, Tebow is currently in his second season pursuing a dream of playing professional baseball with the New York Mets organization. He also serves as a television personality with the SEC Network.

Tebow set many records during his time as a star quarterback at the University of Florida. He won BCS National Championships in 2006 and 2008 and was the recipient of the 2007 Heisman Trophy.

The Denver Broncos selected Tebow in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played three pro seasons and won a playoff game as the Broncos starter in 2011.
