Toni Kroos is a professional soccer player who currently plays for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the German national team as a midfielder. Kroos broke into the spotlight at the age of 17 when he became a member of Bayern Munich’s first team, and became a regular member of the club after a short loan term to Bayern Leverkusen. Toni has been acclaimed by former players and the media as a player with all of the necessary qualities and skills to be an imposing and attacking midfielder. That style of play has helped him earn three Bundesliga titles and the 2013 Champions League title. Arguably his greatest feat was when he and his fellow German national team teammates won the 2014 World Cup, making him the first player born in East Germany to win the competition. Since that victory Kroos signed a six year deal with the club he currently plays for, Real Madrid.
