Taylor Ritzel Biography

Taylor Ritzel is an Olympic rower, representing the United States in the 2012 Olympic Games while also training for the 2016 Olympic Games. Ritzel got her start in rowing at Yale University,where she won NCAA championships in 2007, 2008, and 2010. After her graduation from Yale, Ritzel focused on World Championships, where she won the gold medal in 2010 and 2011. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Ritzel was awarded a gold medal in the Women’s I-8 category. When she is not training for the 2016 Rio Olympics, Ritzel works as a social media manager in New Jersey.
