Stacie Tovar Biography

Stacie Tovar is a professional crossfit athlete. Growing up, Tovar played youth level sports and continued playing sports in high school and college. She regularly plays recreational sports up to this day. Tovar has been participating in crossfit for 2-4 years. Tovar began crossfit with a coach and has completed the crossfit level 1 certificate course. Tovar workouts mostly at a crossfit affiliate, has a coach who determines her programming, incorporates crossfit.com workouts into her routine and records her workouts. Tovar makes sure that she eats quality food and allows herself 1-3 full cheat meals a week. Crossfit takes up a lot of her time and puts a lot of strain on her body, but she makes sure to rest at least 4 days a month. In 2013, while nursing a shoulder injury that has been lingering all season, Tovar managed to secure a 2nd place finish at the 2013 North Central Regional.
