Shane McMahon Biography

Shane McMahon is the chairman and Principal Executive Officer of YOU On Demand and the former Executive Vice President of Global Media. McMahon’s family owns World Wrestling Entertainment and as a result he worked in the WWE for over 20 years as an executive, wrestler and referee. During his time in the WWE he was a one-time European Champion and one-time Hardcore Champion and competed in several pay-per-view main events including WrestleMania 2000. As a wresting executive with WWE he negotiated several large television contracts worldwide that extended the reach and influence of the company. In addition to his duties with YOU On Demand he also serves as the CEO of China Broadband Inc. and sits on the Board of Directors for International Sports Management. He previously served as the CEO of YOU On Demand before assuming his current role with the company.
