About Marty Mornhinweg
Marty Mornhinweg currently serves as the New York Jets offensive coordinator with an extensive background in football. A former player, Morhinweg was born in Oklahoma in 1962 and went on to play college football for the University of Montana, where he set 15 passing records and started all four years at quarterback. Undrafted in 1985, he stayed at his alma mater as the receivers’ coach. Morhinweg then proceeded to coach for the University of Texas before playing professionally for a year with the Denver Dynamite. Since, Morhinweg has coached at four other colleges and with five professional teams, including the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and most recently, the New York Jets. Mornhinweg has the rare accomplishment of being a champion as a player and coach. He was an Arena Bowl I Champion in 1987 playing with the Denver Dynamite and a Super Bowl XXI Champion coaching under the Green Bay Packers. His wide spectrum of experience makes him a great asset to the New York Jets as their offensive coordinator, which he has been serving as since the 2013 season.
