Jordan Malone Biography

Jordan Malone was born in Denton, Texas but grew up on the ice. A speed skater from Texas may be a rare thing, but he’s flourished in the sport and become one of the top skaters in the world. He began inline speed skating at the age of 5 and made the World Team in 2000 before turning pro the following year. In 2001 he became the most decorated junior of all-time and eventually became the fastest man in the world in 2003 after winning the Senior World Championships. In 2004 he made the transition to Short Track Speed skating and has since become the only racer in the world to compete in five consecutive World Championships from 2005 to 2009. In 2009 he won his first World Championship in the 5000-meter relay and followed that up by winning silver in 2010. At the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games he won a bronze in the 5000-meter relay and topped that at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games by winning silver in the 5000-meter relay. Currently he spends his time training and running his business, Full Composite Racing.
