Hoyt Corkins Biography

Hoyt Corkins is a professional poker player who currently competes on the World Poker Tour. He originally started playing poker at the age of 19, and recorded his first World Series of Poker victory in 1992 by winning a bracelet and $96,000. The majority of Corkin’s success has come in the 2000s, as he has won the 2007 World Series of Poker no limit Hold em event, finished second at the 2005 World Series of Poker, and earning over $41,000 at the 2008 World Series of Poker. He earned his second WSOP bracelet in 2007, and has continued to compete in various tournaments to this day, earning over five million dollars as of 2010, with over a million of that coming from his time with the World Series of Poker.
