Adrian Wojnarowski Biography

There is no reporter perhaps in sports who breaks stories more often than Adrian Wojnarowski.  He is ESPN's Senior NBA Insider.  The term “Woj bombs” has been created for the amount of breaking news that he pushes out on the website and his personal Twitter account.  Prior to joining ESPN, Wojnarowski gained a reputation as a national authority on the NBA as Yahoo Sports' lead reporter from 2007-2017. He joined Yahoo from The Record in New Jersey.  Wojnarowski spent over a decade at The Record and was named Columnist of the Year twice by the Associated Press Sports Editors.  His 2006 novel, The Miracle of St. Anthony: A Season with Coach Bob Hurley and Basketball’s Most Improbable Dynasty, was a New York Times best-seller.  During this period, he also wrote for ESPN.com.  Wojnarowski started his career while still in high school at the Hartford Courant.  Following graduation from St. Bonaventure University, he wrote for smaller papers prior to landing with the Fresno Bee in 1995.
