Toronto Blue Jays All-Star Josh Donaldson Signs Endorsement Deal with Pizza Nova

Ontario-based chain Pizza Nova is in their third year of being the Official Pizza of the Toronto Blue Jays.  As a result, it only made sense for them to expand their ties with the franchise by reeling in a top athlete endorser.

Blue Jays All-Star third baseman Josh Donaldson fit the bill.  They signed Donaldson to an endorsement deal that will have him at the forefront of the marketing they do with the club.

Pizza Nova has over 140 locations in Southern Ontario.  They serve over four million pizzas each year.

Last season, Donaldson hit .297 with 41 home runs and an American League-best 123 RBI.  He was named AL Most Valuable Player and started the All-Star Game after receiving the most fan votes.

Donaldson began his big league career with the Oakland Athletics and made his first All-Star team with them in 2014.  He debuted in the big leagues in 2010.

The Chicago Cubs selected Donaldson in the first round of the 2007 MLB Draft.  He played collegiately at Auburn University.
