Tim Tebow Honored for Charity Work by The THRIVE Network

Despite Tim Tebow’s NFL opportunities running dry, his mission to inspire and impact lives keeps moving on.  Tebow was honored for his charitable work in New York last week by The THRIVE Network.

The THRIVE Network is a non-profit that provides social services to individuals in three different New York burroughs.  Tebow made an appearance at their “People Who Thrive” fundraiser to be recognized for the work he has done through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Tebow spoke and was recognized with others, including former New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford

Tebow was one of the final cuts off the Philadelphia Eagles 53-man roster this fall.  He currently spends traveling for speaking engagements and commentating work on the SEC Network.

While with the Denver Broncos after an illustrious college career, Tebow did have his NFL moment in the sun.  He became the Broncos starter during the 2011 season and took a 1-4 team to an NFC West title as well as an opening round playoff victory.

There is no doubt that Tebow will go down as one of the greatest players in college football history.  The two-time first-team All-American won a pair of national championships and was the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner.

He left the Florida Gators as the Southeastern Conference all-time leader in passing efficiency and rushing touchdowns.  All told, he exited college with 5 NCAA, 14 SEC, and 28 UF records.
