Pittsburgh Pirates President Frank Coonelly Keynotes Bradenton Area EDC Annual Update Luncheon in November

As Pittsburgh Pirates president, Frank Coonelly has presided over a successful period in the franchise's history. He will certainly speak to some of the team's fans when he keynotes the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp. Annual Update Luncheon.

Bradenton, Florida is the spring training home of the Pirates. The luncheon will be held on November 3rd from 11:30 am. to 1:30 p.m. at Manatee Technical College.

In addition to Coonelly's presentation, EDC leaders will update attendees on their work to foster job creation in the region. Registration to attend is $70 for EDC investors and $85 for everyone else.

Coonelly has been the president of the Pirates since 2007. After a 20-year playoff absence, the team made the postseason three straight years from 2013-15.

Prior to being hired in Pittsburgh, Coonelly worked for Major League Baseball as the senior vice president and general counsel of labor in the commissioner's office. He originally started working with MLB as outside counsel with the Washington D.C. law firm, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Coonelly is a graduate of Catholic University Law School. He currently sits on the board of the Pirates Charities, Allegheny Conference, Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce and Make-A-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
