Olympic Gold Medal Curler Matt Hamilton Becomes Brand Ambassador for Remington Beard Boss

Olympic gold medal curler Matt Hamilton continues to rack up opportunities after the run he and his U.S. teammates had in PyeongChang this winter. Most recently, he has become a brand ambassador for Remington Beard Boss.

This partnership made great sense after seeing how much publicity Hamilton's facial hair gained during and after the Games. The hashtag #mustachemilitia became a trending message on social media and a sign of his popularity.

Hamilton had been using Remington styling products for some time prior to the agreement. He has also been working for the parent company, Spectrum Brands, for the past five years as a member of their research and development team.

Hamilton competed as the second for John Shuster's gold-medal winning squad. They went on a miracle run that included five straight tournament victories, including a championship win against top-ranked Sweden.

With the triumph, Hamilton and his teammates captured the first Olympic curling gold in U.S. history. He has also been recognized as the U.S. Curling Association Athlete of the Year.

In addition to competing with the men's team, Hamilton also participates in mixed doubles curling with his sister, Becca. He has also participated in three World Championships and on the World Curling Tour.
