Northwestern Coach Pat Fitzgerald Speaks at Michigan's "Exposure U" Camp

Crossing Big 10 rivalry lines apparently is not much of a big deal to two of the league’s best known football coaches.  Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald will be the keynote speaker at Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh’s “Exposure U” camp series on June 15th.

The camp takes place in Ann Arbor and is for any high school football players.  College coaches from around the nation have also been invited to attend.

Cost to attend the four-day camp that runs from June 14-17 is $520 for players who need boarding and $350 for commuters.  More details can be found here

Fitzgerald has been the head coach at his alma mater since 2006 and is the winningest coach in school history.  Under his watch, the Wildcats have gone to five bowls.

In 2012, Fitzgerald led NU to a 10-3 record, a Gator Bowl victory, and a final ranking of 16th in the Coaches’ Poll.  Those ten wins also tied a program single-season record.

Fitzgerald originally became a hero to Northwestern fans as a junior linebacker on the team 10-2 team that made it to the 1996 Rose Bowl.  Overall, he was a two-time Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-American.
