New York Giants Legend Pepper Johnson Set For Autograph Signing in Livingston, New Jersey

A former New York Giant fan favorite will be building some buzz for Super Bowl 50.  Retired linebacker Pepper Johnson is participating in an autograph signing the day before the big game in Livingston, New Jersey.

He will be at Frozen in Time Ice Cream Parlour from 2-4:30 p.m.  Any item brought to the store can be autographed by Johnson for $25.

Fans can also get a photo taken with Johnson.  Not only does he have deep ties to the area for his time with the Giants, but he continues that legacy in the region now as a defensive line coach for the New York Jets.

Johnson played the first seven of his 13 seasons in New York and was a stallwart on defense during two Super Bowl runs.  He was a Pro Bowl pick in 1990 and 1994 and made the All-Pro squad in 1990 as well.

Johnson finished with 983 tackles, 25.5 sacks, and 14 interceptions.  He also had a banner All-American college career at Ohio State and was elected into the Varsity "O" Hall of Fame in 2001.

His former head coach and defensive coordinator Bill Belichick gave him a chance in coaching with the New England Patriots in 2000.  He spent 14 seasons with the franchise in a variety of roles while also winning three Super Bowls along the way.
