New Arizona State Coach Herm Edwards Keynotes West Coast Expo Next Month

As the new head coach at Arizona State, Herm Edwards is busy building a program, but he still has time to be one of the top speakers from the world of sports. Edwards will next speak at The Packer's West Coast Produce Expo's education program.

The event takes place May 11-12 at the JW Mariott Desert Springs in Palm Springs, California. Edwards will bring his trademark enthusiasm to his inspirational presentation.

He will share leadership lessons from his career and leave all who attend with the motivation they need to succeed. Edwards follows another sports standout, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who spoke last year.

Edwards returns to the sidelines with the Sun Devils after a decade away from coaching. In that time, he has been popular on the speaking circuit and served as one of ESPN's top NFL analysts.

Edwards last served as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs and led them to one playoff appearance in three seasons. He also made three postseason trips with the New York Jets from 2001-05.

Edwards earned his reputation in coaching as a top defensive backs coach with the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also had a ten-year NFL playing career at cornerback.
