NBA on TNT Personality Shaquille O’Neal Speaks at University of the Cumberlands in April

Basketball icon Shaquille O'Neal is a larger-than-life personality in so many ways. On April 5th, he will make his presence know at a special event at the University of the Cumberlands. 

O'Neal is keynoting the Excellence in Leadership Lecture Series. The 12th annual event takes place at 7 p.m. in the O. Wayne Rollins Center. 

O'Neal is scheduled to share some personal stories from his career. Tickets are free, but handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nobody left quite the impact that O'Neal did through his 19 NBA seasons. He was a 15-time NBA All-Star and 14-time All-NBA selection who led three different franchises to the NBA Finals. 

O'Neal won four NBA championships and was a three-time NBA Finals MVP. The year he won his first title, he was also the league's MVP with the Los Angeles Lakers. 

O'Neal is a member of the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame and has his number retired by the Lakers and Miami Heat. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame last year.
