Miami Dolphins Quarterback Ryan Tannehill Hosts South Florida Football Camp in June

Being around the star quarterback for the hometown team is something any kid would dream of.  For those in grades 1-8, they get that opportunity June 9th and 10th when Miami Dolphins signal caller Ryan Tannehill hosts his football camp in Davie, Florida.

The Citi Ryan Tannehill Football Pro Camp will be held right across the way from the Dolphins training facility at Nova High School.  It runs each day from 4:00-7:30 p.m. and costs $99

Broward Health is a partnering sponsor and the camp is also presented by Advocare and SunnyD.  Campers will receive a Tannehill autograph, t-shirt, and team photo in addition to the invaluable football instruction.

Tannehill has grown steadily in his three NFL seasons.  In 2014, he threw for 4,045 yards, completed 66.4 percent of his passes, and tossed 27 touchdowns.  His completion percentage set a team record.

After being the eight overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Tannehill has not missed a start.  He followed Hall of Famers Bob Griese and Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks ever drafted in the first round by the Dolphins.

Tannehill had an interesting path to the position, playing receiver during some of his career at Texas A&M before finally being a full-time quarterback as a senior.
