The New York Giants are an institution throughout the entire state and Lawrence Taylor is arguably the biggest star in franchise history.  He will head upstate on November 12th for a public autograph signing that is sure to be well attended. 

Taylor will be in New Hartford at the Gentleman's Corner Barber Shop from 1-3 p.m.  The event is being hosted by the barber shop and Cooperstown Connection.

Taylor was one of the most feared players on the football field in NFL history.  He spent his entire career with the Giants and was a ten-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro. 

Taylor won a record three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards.  He is one of just two defensive players to have won the NFL MVP torphy.  

Following that 1986 MVP campaign where he racked up a career-high 20.5 sacks, Taylor won the first of two Super Bowls with New York.  His #56 jersey is retired by the franchise and he is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
